The Waterboys are Mike Scott`s legendary band, which made their way through the 80`s and reformed in 2000. Scott is the founder and only permanent member of the band, playing with over 50 different musicians through the past years. Their unique celtic folk/rock sound influenced many contemporary musicians. "Don`t bang the drum" is a hit from their 1985 album "This is the sea" and apart from being a great song, in our opinion, it has the greatest intro in music history!

Οι Waterboys είναι η θρυλική μπάντα του Mike Scott που χάραξαν την πορεία τους κατά τη διάρκεια της δεκαετίας του `80 και επανασυνδέθηκαν το 2000. Ο Scott είναι ο ιδρυτής και μοναδικό μόνιμο μέλος του συγκροτήματος, παίζοντας στο πλάι περισσοτέρων από 50 μουσικών σε όλα αυτά τα χρόνια. O μοναδικός κέλτικος folk/rock ήχος τους επηρέασε πολλούς σύγχρονούς τους μουσικούς.
Το "Don`t bang the drum" είναι μια επιτυχία τους από το album τους "This is the sea" του 1985 και εκτός του ότι είναι ένα σπουδαίο τραγούδι, κατά τη γνώμη μας, διαθέτει την καλύτερη εισαγωγή στην ιστορία της μουσικής!
