All in my mind (IX): It`s A...live

   There’s several things that transform a live recording into a legendary moment in time. In the words of Tim Chester, of NME Magazine:  
   "... setlist, sound quality, on-stage banter, crowd reaction, and a palpable sense of time and place. The best live albums comprise most or all of these, and transport you directly to the front of the crowd by the opening few moments. They give you a real sense of being there, from the intros ... to the crowd noises ... and the songs themselves. They’re moments in time, frozen for ever, enjoyed by a lucky few live but appreciated by millions ever after..."

    The 9th collection of this blog`s music column "All in my mind", entitled "It`s A...live!" is a selection of 21 carefully chosen live recordings, some globally acclaimed and some personal best.

  I have to point out that "... in this blog`s music column a fictional collection is offered, with its cover, fully conceived by me, not for downloading but only for listening (and that`s why it`s entitled "All in my mind"!!!), in the form of a playlist, through the Grooveshark player.

   The speed of transitions from song to song or any "crashes" depend on the speed of your internet connection..."

  Υπάρχουν πολλά στοιχεία που μεταμορφώνουν μια ζωντανή ηχογράφηση σε μια θρυλική στιγμή μέσα στο χρόνο. Όπως είπε σχετικά και ο Tim Chester, του περιοδικού ΝΜΕ:  
   "...η λίστα των τραγουδιών, η ποιότητα του ήχου, η συμπεριφορά επί σκηνής, οι αντιδράσεις του κοινού και η χειροπιαστή αίσθηση του χρόνου και του τόπου. Οι σπουδαιότερες ζωντανές ηχογραφήσεις περιλαμβάνουν τα περισσότερα από τα παραπάνω και σε μεταφέρουν απευθείας στο μπροστινό μέρος του κοινού από τις πρώτες στιγμές. Σου δίνουν την αληθινή αίσθηση ότι είσαι εκεί, από τις εισαγωγές ... από τους ήχους του ακροατηρίου ... και από τα ίδια τα τραγούδια. Είναι στιγμές στον χρόνο που "πάγωσαν" για πάντα, τις οποίες λίγοι απόλαυσαν ζωντανά, αλλά εκτιμήθηκαν από εκατομμύρια για πάντα...".

   Η 9η συλλογή της μουσικής στήλης του blog "All in my mind", με τον τίτλο "It`s A...live!" είναι μια επιλογή 21 προσεκτικά διαλεγμένων ζωντανών ηχογραφήσεων, με κάποιες παγκοσμίως αναγνωρισμένες και κάποιες προσωπικές προτιμήσεις.

  Θυμίζω ότι: "...σε αυτή τη στήλη προτείνεται μια πλήρης κατά φαντασίαν συλλογή, με το εξώφυλλό της, εξ ολοκλήρου έμπνευσής μου, χωρίς όμως να προσφέρεται για downloading, αλλά μόνο για ακρόαση (γι` αυτό εξάλλου και η στήλη ονομάζεται "All in my mind"!!!), με τη μορφή μιας playlist, μέσω του player του Grooveshark.
  Η ταχύτητα εναλλαγής των τραγουδιών ή τυχόν "κολλήματα" θα εξαρτώνται από την ταχύτητα της σύνδεσής σας."
